Jan. 15th, 2003 09:13 pmI had to send a what will probably be a very disappointing email to someone today. They asked for my blessing on something, and I can't in good conscience give it. This person has been very mature in the past, and I hope I don't get an f-mail over this. I spent all day on that letter.
Sometimes, I find it's easy to be myself [sometimes, not].
Not much else going on in my world today. It was nice to have a day off. We visited hub's mom in the hospital- she had a hysterectomy and seems to be doing fine. Oh, and we also had a tree guy come and trim trees. He is the fellow that has been taking care of hub's parents yard for years (before they divorced and moved) and he gave us an amazing price. I know, because I had another guy look at them and offer to cut them for three times as much. And he did just what we wanted- cleared the stuff that was banging against the house, cropped the crepe myrtles, and nothing else. AND hauled it all off, too. It looks naked, but will be happier for the trees and the house.
It's going to get really cold tonight.
