I spent my fish money- I got some more black neons, just to fill out the little school I have. I was thinking of getting some more rasboras, but since they school with the neons I think they will be OK. I also looked into getting a few more mollies, but the ones they had were not feeling so well and they told me to wait a week. That's cool. Still, I wanted to get something different- no blue emperors, or king emperors, or whatever those blue tetras I have lusted after are available in Austin as far as I could tell. I looked at some very pretty Congo tetras, but they were rather expensive at $12-15/fish and you really have to get a school of at least 4 or 5 (more like 7) to keep them really happy. So instead I got some cute silvery Buenos Aires tetras; they are about the size and color of a new quarter. They were 2 bucks apiece, so I was able to get 7 of them and a big wad of java moss with the rest of my gift certificate. Yay! I'm acclimating everyone as we speak.
