I picked up a shift for someone here at work, and it sucks ass. Her keyboard's shift and control keys on the left side do not work, and I use them constantly. I could type IMs like e.e.cummings and no one would care, but the reports have to look pristine since they end up in court sometimes. So I'm having to use the right-side keys, which is a huge pain.
Additionally, it's been trying to rain here for days. You may know what that's like- hot, humid, nasty, icky... it doesn't cool down at night hardly at all, and there's this constant underlying sense of tension. Well, it finally got here- we're having a whopper of a storm, and I'm sitting here at work when I could be at home enjoying it, or even outside! But noooooo.
Whine, whine, whine.
