Here's some pics from my album; most of it's my head getting shaved, but there are a few others too. Here's the best ones, though.




Here's the van, all dressed up.



This is where we spent a lot of our time. Note hub's shirt, a work shirt I tie-dyed; he also has on a sarong, which I think is cute. You can see the curtains and mosquito netting that made the van home.



Here's what I look like with hair, for reference.



The shearing! Mostly done out of a sense of curiousity.



Ta da! I'll be growing it back, but it'll be interesting to see what looking like a skinhead will be like.



Bean was kind enough to take a bunch of pictures for me, and snapped a self-portrait.

You hear me going on about the cedars? Well, here they are. The land where the event is held is covered with mostly these guys plus some live oak and a few other trees. But wherever you camp, you'll see bunches of this.

Wellll, I'd also like to have really long hair (I did when I was a little sprog) but it never seems to want to grow long in the back. I'd also heard that sometimes cutting a lot off can make it (eventually) grow long, too- I know a guy with hair down to his bum who swore by that.

Hub asked me if he should shave his head, I think just to see the look of horror on my face and see how many different ways I could say 'no'.

Oh, me too, by all means. That's why I kept it!

But I was really curious, it's summer (screw the weatherman. It's summer), and it's less permanent than a tattoo. Washing my head in the shower was a real trip; one swipe with the towel and it's dry! Bizarrrrrooooo!

[Partially in response to this post, and partially in response to part of the last post...] *I* think you look good with a shaved head. :) It works for you; it wouldn't work for a lot of folks.

Really it was because I wanted to see what my head looked like. :) Bob had talked about it a couple of weeks ago and it'd been percolating since then.
