Short version: best movie I have seen all year.
Less short version: Interesting story. Flow was weird, but probably more a function of culture than anything else. Characters were cute but not sickeningly so, or awe-inspiring without beating you over the head about it. The animation was superb, and some of the scenes were 'I want a still of that to hang on the wall' beautiful. That Miyazaki guy is an honest-to-gods artist. This is on my definite to-buy list when it comes out on dvd. Hub says the dubbing was excellent as well, which is something I notice less. So go see it already!
