I came home from work yesterday in brilliant sunshine, which felt all weird. It was also warm and muggy. I went to check the pool when I got home, and the oak catkins all decided to drop at once, into the pool, along with all the inchworms that have been eating them. So now the pool water is a dark (but still clear!) malachite green. Everything, even the pool bot, is stained yellow with oak pollen. I scooped about 20 pounds (literally) of catkins that were floating on the top, and tried to send pool bot after the ones that sunk but it's having a hard time of it.
In other pool-related news, the heater to the hot tub apparently works fine, so now we have to see about the pump. BLAR!
The peppers seem to be getting ready to flower. They're barely 6 inches tall...
starcrossedlady, is this something to worry about?
I finally got 2 minutes with scheduling guy. He said the chances of me being able to drop Sundays and pick up some other day of the week are 'very low.' Bummer... I really hate working Sundays. Oh, well, it was worth a shot.
