I forgot how strange it feels to go to work so early. I stepped out this morning at 5:45a and it was dark and still; hardly any traffic was on Parmer. It was creepy- vampiric, almost. I could see the Moon setting behind the clouds. At the same time, I looked at the clock in my car which is set to Standard Time (I really, really hate Daylight Savings) and of course it read 4:45a. It's getting light at four-something in the morning- you know Summer is here. Why can't we stay on CST?!
Traffic was just non-exsistant. Even when I worked at TRC there was still a few cars. Now I am here at work, after leaving less than 12 hours before and with only 5 hours of sleep (I hope Gordon appreciates this). There is some kind of TV crew here, perhaps wanting to interview the creeps that get peoples' kids taken away from them. I've been sitting on an open phone line for 20 minutes- silence.
This feels so unreal.
I should be back in bed.
Sigh.
