The computer upgrade went practically without a hitch. We got a case at Fry's last night; average size and metallic bronze, if you're curious. If you are a curious geek, I went from a k6-500 with 256 meg ram and a TNT card to an Athlon XP 1800+ (1.5ghz), 512meg ram, and a geforce 3d card. This according to hub, I just take his word for it. This is a belated Christmas present, and aside from the fact that it shares a quality of many of my other Christmas presents (it will make me fat) I love it. It's not gotten above 45 degrees and has been raining all day, though, so it's not really a go out and be active kinda day.
In fact, when I went on my cleaning jag the other day, I came across a cake. Mom brought it when she came to visit over Christmas. It's her birthday 3 days after Christmas so her co-workers got it for her. But since she's diabetic, she gave it to us. Well, with all the other stuff we'd had to eat, it was sort of forgotten- ignored, really. So I find this 2 week old cake. What to do? I decided to put it out by the pool on our patio table, and see if the birds and squirrels might not go for it. They didn't seem to like it much, and now it's been raining all day. So it's like that song. You know the one.
