I got my permanent inlays. This is dental work, as you may recall. It's nice because now I can eat chips and chew on ice cubes like I'm wont to do, plus they're not temperature-sensitive like the temps were. The bad side, though, is that part of my mouth is still numb. It's been about 2 1/2 days, and the left side of my lower jaw and more annoyingly, the left half and tip of my tongue is numb. I am pretty sure the Novocaine would've worn off by now, so I'm assuming the dentist hit a nerve with the needle when he was shooting me up. A friend told me that happened with his wife, and she was numb for 3 weeks. I can handle 3 weeks (but is is really annoying!), just not forever. I hope they didn't fuck something up permanently. I may call them Monday. Well, no, Tuesday since it's Labor Day. Although I still have to work. Waaah.
