For more future reference- the Trad leader in Atlanta is hosting a Celtic shamanism workshop on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday 4 for $150 by some famous pagan guy whose name I can't recall. Also the previous weekend (4/26-27) she wants all the Thirds and Elders to get together to talk about things like 501c3 (or whatever that is) status, credentialing, minimum requirements, and suchlike.
Things to think about: do I have the leave to take (probably) 2 full weeks off work? How will I get out there? Fly or drive? If I drive, will I do it in one day or two, and if two where will I stay the night of day one? Will I have enough money to afford the workshop? Will I have enough money to live off of for the week and a half? If I stay at the Trad leader's house for that long, will we get on each other's nerves? Will I miss my hubby terribly, since I've never been gone more than 4 days? Can I do this? Do I want to? Will I have fun? Will I learn anything?
I've never been a big Celtic-head, so it might be more financially sensible to just go for the Trad pow-wow. But it's like, if I'm already in Atlanta anyway, why not go? Hmm. Time to think.
