This is just for my personal reference; feel free to ignore it.
Here are the things wrong with my car. Whoever buys it will get this list beforehand, so they will know what to expect. I think it would make a really good art car if I can find some burners to snap it up.
However, it has its good points...

- extensive rust; it's all over the car but mostly the hood which is entirely rusted (no holes yet)
- trim is either missing or barely hanging on
- driver's side front door armrest missing
- driver's side front door handle broken, replaced with home-made work-around
- driver's side window crank handle broken; still functional though (the knob's missing)
- turn indicator broken; it works fine but it's dangling with wires hanging out
- speedometer dodgy; it works but bounces back and forth, centering around the speed you're driving. I don't even notice it anymore but it takes some getting used to
- gas gauge does not work at all. Since the odometer still works I just keep track and fill it up every 150 miles
- highest fan setting on vent/air conditioning does not work
- air conditioner compressor is getting ready to die (I'm told, though it works fine now)
- windshield wiper squirty thingies don't work
- dome light doesn't work
- leaks power steering fluid (slowly)
- driver's side visor hangs down, will not stay up. I keep it pushed over to the side
- passenger side rear door is dented and takes a lot of strength to open
- trunk lock was broken into; the lock has been replaced but it takes a different key
- different colored wheels, no hub caps
- seat belt housing thingy for front driver's side belt is hanging on and doesn't sit well; it doesn't impair functioning of the seatbelt unless you're trying to retract it in a hurry
- rear left blinker cover is cracked; it passes inspection though
- cruise control does not work
- lighter does not work
- front (dash) speakers do not work
- dashboard is cracked
- rear view mirror has some cracks in the silvering, but is still functional
- interior cloth/carpet/panels could use a good scrub
- headliner has some scratches in it, but is mostly intact
- weather stripping is gone around driver's side front window due to being broken into with a hanger (by myself, incidentally, when I locked my keys in it) so it leaks a little if it's raining
- something (I never figured out what) leaks at the passenger side front seat's feet when it rains. It's not a stream of water, just a few drops, but if you leave a newspaper (for instance) down there it'll get soaked
- hood ornament is missing
However, it has its good points...
- maintenance done and oil changed regularly; engine rebuilt in '93 or so; recently (like earlier this year) a mechanic remarked that you could set a glass of water on it when it was running and you wouldn't see a ripple; he actually referred to it as a 'one in a million engine'
- it passed inspection in October, good through 10/03
- good sturdy American steel frame, very tough, laughs heartily at minor collisions
- AM/FM/cd player by Pioneer with decent rear speakers
- it has plenty of power (V8 engine), not acceleration, but it will get you up any hill without breaking a sweat
