I feel much better today, thanks. I slept until 5pm yesterday, which was really weird but I guess I needed it because when I tried to go to sleep last night around 2am, thinking I'd be awake all night, I actually did drift off.
Then I proceeded to have a very odd dream about camping with the Army in the desert in Iraq. I went to my tent and a guy next to me had managed to pour water on all my stuff, getting my gear all wet. I was pissed and trying to sort it all out, when word of an impending attack came through and everyone left but me, since I was preoccupied. When I realized everyone else was gone, I got very flustered since there was no way I could carry all my stuff on my person, and I ran around like an idiot until the Iraqis came. Saddam himself caught me, and I managed to play the cute, scared girl so he decided to add me to his harem instead of just killing me (HUGE eyeroll here. I haven't the burning hatred of Iraq and I certainly don't see the guy as some sort of Jabba the Hut, but whatever, eh) which gave me time to figure out how to escape. I remember looking out a window in the tent and seeing a crescent Moon with a star, like the Islamic symbol, and wondering if I should be pretending to pray or if escaping while everyone else was praying was a possibility. At some point, I awoke.
We are getting characters ready for some happy Dungeons and Dragons gaming. I haven't played in forever, and I really loved it in the past so I'm looking forward to warming up the ol' dice again. It's a 3rd Edition campaign, so some of the rules have changed. But Gordon got us a Player's Handbook and we've been reading up. Man, the books are really expensive! Just what I need- another hobby to spend a lot of money on.
And why the hell have I been getting so freaking much spam mail in the last couple of days? Damn!
