Tofu spring rolls from Whole Foods.

What's your favorite cheese?
I don't think I've met a cheese I disliked, but I don't know that I have a favorite. Chevre, I guess?

What's your favorite fish?
Ugh, hate fish.

What's your favorite fruit?
Orange

When, if ever, did you start liking olives?
I think I always liked black olives, and at least tolerated green olives.

When, if ever, did you start liking beer?
Ugh, hate beer.

When, if ever, did you start liking shellfish?
Ugh, hate shellfish. Did I mention that I have the palate of a six year old?

What was the best thing your parent/s used to make?
Mom made a great pot of spaghetti.

What's the native specialty of your home town?
What's my home town? We moved around all the time; the longest place I've lived anywhere is after I stopped living at home and moved to Austin. So... I dunno, chili or something.

What's your comfort food?
Chocolate. Or chicken-friend steak.

What's your favorite type of chocolate?
Dark with orange or mint.

How do you like your steak?
I used to like it the more burnt the better, but I'll ask for medium these days to avoid Eric's horrified glare.

How do you like your burger?
Mushrooms and Swiss cheese, and lettuce and onions.

Ugh, hate eggs.

How do you like your potatoes?
French fried and spicy.

How do you take your coffee?
Ugh, hate coffee. Frappuccino probably doesn't qualify as 'coffee', huh?

Earl Grey hot, a spot of cream, sugar if I'm not concerned about my weight or stevia if I am

What's your favorite mug?
Mug? I don't have a favorite mug. Well, okay, maybe that one with the dinosaur one Phil and Kim gave me when I got when I got my bachelor's degree.

What's your cookie of choice?
Girl Scout thin mints

What's your ideal breakfast?
Bacon, waffles or pancakes with fruit on them, and bacon

What's your ideal sandwich?
A mixed cuts from Thundercloud. They call it something stupid now; the American classic I think. I always say 'mixed cuts' and they always know what I mean. Bologna, Salami, ham, lettuce, mayo, spicy mustard, and provolone cheese.

What's your ideal pizza (topping and base)?
Mmm- from Frank and Angie's, a white pizza on a thin crust with alfredo sauce, mushrooms, garlic cloves, onions, black olives, and bacon. No, not Canadian bacon- bacon.

What's your ideal pie (sweet or savory)?
Cherry, baby. Chocolate is a close second.

What's your ideal salad?
I love a cesar salad, but lately I'm digging the field greens with crumbled cheese, apples and candied walnuts a lot of places have been serving.

What food do you always like to have in the fridge?
skim milk, OJ, mushrooms

What food do you always like to have in the freezer?
soy bacon

What food do you always like to have in the cupboard?
a box of Kraft dinner, stuff to make spaghetti

What spices can you not live without?
garlic salt!

What sauces can you not live without?
Meh, sauce. I can live without sauce.

Where do you buy most of your food?
Mister Butt's local grocery store (HEB).

How often do you go food shopping?
My people go once a week or so.

What's the most you've spent on a single food item?
Hell, I don't know... I think I sent my mom some lobster one Christmas but it didn't break $100, I don't think.

uh... husband?

I bought a bottle opener.

I dunno, very occasionally... Eric does most of the cooking.

Leave me alone!

Mom's spaghetti recipe

Deer, buffalo, goat, elk, and duck, IIRC.

I'll take the fifth. I don't remember. Never. Leave me alone!

What's the last time you ate something you'd picked in the wild?
You mean when? Probably 20 years or so ago... wild onions grew all over the co-op where I lived. I've probably sucked on some honeysuckle flowers since then though, does that count?

WTF is a tipple? My favorite adult beverage is Treaty Oak rum with Dublin DrPepper.
