Ahhhh, headphones. That's much better.
Today started off with me getting up at a positively unholy early hour and finding my way to our new workplace (where we will be moving at the beginning of next month). It's just up the road from here, though a little harder to get to. But it looks like a nice place, though they're turning it into a vast cube farm, with the all-right-angle linear configuration as opposed to the somewhat more organic radial ones we have now. More privacy, though I will be sharing a desk with someone who works on the days I'm off. Meh, I'm doing that now.
They are giving us shiny new phones with a lot of little buttons, so the reason I went in was to attend a training on how to use these new marvels. The training seemed to be aimed at about a 3rd grade level, but it was early enough that I didn't mind. Aside from the overly-bright tone and inappropriate use of 'we', as in "now we're going to do thus and such." Huh, maybe I did mind. When I wake up some more, I will let you know.
