It's been quite a craptacular day at work. I've been on the verge of leaving pretty much all day, but always figure it's not that bad, and I really don't have the sick leave to burn. I called my doctor, who actually answers calls on the weekends apparently- amazing. She said either take more Darvocet or take Vicodin, and a hot bath. Since I can't really take a hot bath at work, I just took a Vicodin instead, which took long enough to kick in that I spent a good while feeling hurty and doped up. That's no fun. Right now I have a gel heat pack waded up and stuffed down my pants. I look like I'm pregnant but only on the left side. Oooh, sexxxxah! All this will pretty much enable me to limp through the rest of the day, I think. Such a great Protestant work ethic I have. *gnash* Doctor did agree I should come in and talk to her, so I'll call tomorrow to schedule that. I just hope it's something they can fix without effing surgery. Or me having to get back on the Pill for instance. So, no surgery, no pills... I guess I'm hoping she can rub an egg on it and make it go away or something. Well, I can hope anyway.
