This day's not off to a stellar start so far.

Yesterday we bought the 4 giant bookcases that will turn the westward wall in the bedroom to the Wall O' Bookcases, which I am greatly looking forward to. Plus, an evening strolling through an IKEA (which I'm quite fond of, Fight Club dissing notwithstanding) with my man and speculating on ideas for how to re-do the bathroom or the kitchen may seem unexciting and domestic, but it warms the cockles of my heart, or maybe the sub-cockles.

However, the heavy lifting's screwed with my back. And my chiropractor is out of town. And I just whanged my head on the shower bar when I was cleaning out the cat box. Ow, ow, ow.

Yeah! Finished the story part of Beatles Rock Band. Very cool.

For the record, the Beatle who's voice I seem to be able to match most closely seems to be John Lennon. He's not even my favorite. My favorite was Paul McCartney when I was in high school, and ran with a group of friends who demanded that I pick a favorite Beatle, so they could then induct me into their secret club. I still probably have the shoelaces somewhere that one of them made for me that said "I ♥ Paul". Anymore, my favorite's probably George Harrison, just because he seems like he'd've been the one I would've liked to hang out with most, plus I think he had great eyebrows.
