Sulu is teh gay! I don't know why that makes me happy, but it does. It makes me even more sad, though, that I didn't see on the Daily Show where he said "hot wet bitches."

I like Green Lantern. I haven't read any of his comics, but I've seen him on Justice League. He's all green, which is the first reason to like him. Well, okay, he's not all green but he glows green and has a green outfit with matching green jewelry. He can apparently make anything out of green beams, which sounds useful (and would be interesting to test the limits of). Plus, according to this, his nemesis is the color yellow. Think of all the conflict that must cause! Plus he hangs out with Superman, who is able to kick ass because of our yellow sun- and hates green rocks (or some of them anyway).

I'm talking about today's Green Lantern; it seems he used to be a white guy with a big stupid Elvis pompadour and an obligatory irritating sidekick who according to this article was good for nothing but getting captured.

But he matches my journal so he's going on my cool list.
