Sep. 19th, 2005 01:38 pmSunday was slack-ass day. Paul came over and gave me a teacup he'd bought in Salem Mass that's for reading tea leaves, and has a little booklet and everything. Apparently Salem is your place to go for any and all witchy crap you've been missing in your life. He said they were even selling it in the bars.
After that we went to San Marcos to visit my college buddy Dan. Dan has been living in an apartment forever, but he got himself a girlfriend and they found a wee little strange old house and are living there. She is cute and blond and very nice, and kind of dingy. She has a foo dog, some puffy breed with a curly tail that looks a little bit like a cross between a husky and a chow. She says she has the only one in Texas, and she wants to get a girl so she can breed them- and I just wanted to ask her "Do you think there is a reason why you have the only one in Texas? This poor beast must be miserable!" He had an extremely thick coat. But it seems he and Dan's dog Kirby are mostly inside dogs, and someone is usually home so it's not so bad. We dined at a restaurant called Los Cucos, which was the same name as the place Mom and I ate at when she lived in Bryan- and it turns out, it is the same place. They're a little chain, I guess. The food was pretty tasty.
We went back to their place and smoked and listened to music (after realizing that we could hook my iPod up to his phenomenal stereo system) and watched the Simpsons. Then, home again for a lazy evening of Adult Swim.
