Did I ever mention how much fun the Terminator Mister Sinus Theater and the Buffy sing-along was? I think I liked the Terminator more. It was as good as any MST I've seen, probably made better by the familiar subject material. I didn't even remember there was an iguana in the movie, but now I will never forget. Nor will I be able to hear 'Bohemian Rhapsody' again without thinking of a guy in drag dancing around with a VCR hanging off his belt. The sing-along was okay, except I probably would have enjoyed it more if it was not participatory. I don't know what I was expecting, and I was probably tired, but I think I would've rather just sat and watched instead of being expected to dance around and stuff; I guess I was feeling shy and lazy. It was still fun, and in addition to the singing episode they played one with evil Willow. Everyone loves that evil Willow.
Sunday on a whim I talked hub into going to the museum to see the Andy Goldsworthy exhibit at the Austin Museum of Art, which I'd never been to. I've always liked the guy's stuff, especially when it involves color graduations of things (which have been leaves and rocks). It was mainly photos, but there were a couple of leaf sculptures, one line of a couple hundred rocks that went from black to grey to white to beige to dark brown (very cool), and one whole floor of a large room that was mostly taken up by twigs laid in an interesting pattern. It made me want to buy the guy's books, but damn art books are expensive. I may have to visit eBay. I did find some amusing little fridge magnets- 50's style stock art with little sayings, one of which I've already given away. I might give them all away, though I might keep the one that says "at last she had awakened from the nightmare of youth".
It's 6 now. I think it's time for breakfast tacos.
