Dec. 20th, 2004 01:52 pmYesterday was Craft Hell in the House of Mellow. I had bought some stained glass paints to replace the ones that got funky and just painted all sorts of stuff. Now I'm eyeing our glass-paned back doors. Stop me before I craft again. I also started to make some more incense, but ran out of bay leaves. It turns out that bay leaves purchased at the local witchy store cost about .06/gram, which is a lot cheaper than from the grocery store. So when I get my car back this afternoon I hope to stop by Natural Magjick (or however the hell they spell it) and get the final ingredients. This will be one of the things I have planned for this evening.
Tonight is my Yule vigil. My plans are to wrap presents, finish the last crafty projects I have lying around, clean up for the Yule ritual tomorrow night, visit the Reclaiming folks at the Vortex (they done stole my idea), and otherwise try to stay awake.
Hub and I exchanged Yule presents. Well, actually he gave me his, the ones I've gotten for him haven't showed up yet so I just had a small trinket to give him that shall not be described for fear of offending delicate sensibilities. So what did I get you ax? An iPod! Huzzah! It's even engraved on the back with my name and a love note. I also got a little velcroed carrying case for it. It's one of the big ones too, which means I've put every bit of music off my computer onto the thing and filled up less than 1/10 the space. So maybe I will go dump all my cds into it too while I'm at it tonight. Happy Yule to me!
