Gordon took me out to eat Thursday while hub went shooting, then we spent the rest of the evening working on a 550 piece puzzle. I forgot how much I love doing puzzles- it's such a nice combination of pseudo-creation and anal organization that is fun and relaxing. We got close to halfway done before quitting for the evening. I finished it yesterday while watching 'I Love the 90's' on VH1. Sure, the commentary was often obvious jabs (I think there was a lot more to the Monica Lewinski tale than 'save a dress that got spooged on and be famous!') but a lot of it was pretty funny too. And there were some news items that I completely missed; some redneck wanker baseball player pissing off all of New York (and a lot of other people) with racist statements in 1998; how'd I miss that one?

I was feeling a bit over-stretched so yesterday I took it easy. I had woken up feeling sore and tired; this morning I'm feeling pretty good. Hub found someone who wants to play board games so we're going over to their place this afternoon.

In other news, tsarina has directed my attention to the Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab; I am not much of a perfume wearer but I love essential oils, and this looks like an interesting combination. They have sample six-packs so I'm thinking of ordering some of those to see what they're like.
