Blarg; I woke up in a great amount of adhesion pain. They don't usually bother me for an extended period of time; it's often a matter of shifting to a different position. But for some reason they were killing me all the way into work. Doc promises me he'll clear these out. Dammit, I can't wait.

Enough with the bitching. I am going to have to be realistic about my scheduling fu and not do the lavender farm this Saturay. Pagan Dedication is that night and I'ma gonna really want to futz with the cleaning and the furniture rearranging and wa-hey. How about next Saturday (6/26)? They're saying they'll have lavender well into July. I'll still want to go pretty early- they open at nine, so I'm thinking leave here by around 7:30-8ish.

Last night we took dad-in-law out for early Father's Day dinner at Zorba's. I need to think of something to do for that. He doesn't care about cards; I may just go with a call. Anyway, Zorba's was very tasty as usual. Hooray for Greek food!

I am a sad panda.

I comfort buy. It's like comfort eating, but with buying stuff (though I comfort eat too, stupid Moon in Taurus). Dad's wife calls it 'retail therapy.' Hub has teased me quite a lot in the past about my eBay habit, and I know we're not made of money, and the gods know I don't need any more stuff, especially jewelry. I've been pretty good these last few months too, I think. But there was this really amazing necklace that I wanted to get on eBay. It was a 10 day auction and it sat un-bid upon for 9 1/2 days. So with 10 hours left, I bid on it. I guess someone was watching it too, because they bid on it within hours of my bidding, and bid it up over what I think I can reasonably pay for schwag I don't need. But it sure was a beautiful piece of jewelry. Waaaah.
