(no subject)

I slept in a little late today- this is the slow-paced week to make up for next week, which'll be altogether too busy. Last night was D&D, and it was a lot more story-building than hack-n-slash, which I think was frustrating to *ahem* certain other players. It all evens out in the warsh. I also cleaned out the Catalina in preparation for trying to sell it; I think I've been slowly getting used to the idea of saying goodbye to it for the last couple of months, and now I'm at the point where I really just want to get rid of it and have the money. I'll probably still shed a little tear when it drives away eventually. It still runs fine, too. I hope the next owner appreciates it at least almost as much as I did.

Today hub had his first day of part-time work. I answered emails and worked on tomorrow's class until he got home, and we went to see 'Winged Migration'. It was very sparse with the dialog and was mostly very well-done shots of birds flying, eating, walking, flying, and flying. It did have some of the prerequisite 'humans suck' and 'nature red of tooth and claw' stuff, but avoided being gory and I would overall recommend it. What a beautiful movie.

We're at loose ends for the evening; while on the way home form the movie we tried to call hub's sister to see what she was up to, and she sounded really upset about something and got off the phone in a hurry. I may call her now that I'm home and see if everything's okay.
