Why, why, why is it that I want to go hiking, and get all ready for spring, and then the day I'm off it gets all crappy, and stays crappy, and now that I have to be stuck inside it's sunny and nice out?

Oh, I know my previous post was all chipper about the snow, but I've gotten crabbier since I discovered that said snow began to fall probably within minutes of when I went to sleep, and stopped minutes before I went outside to admire it.

I started teaching the latest witchy class on Thursday. One of the 3 students was sick, so there was only 2 people. There were going to be 4 students, but one just can't be reached, after she has taken the trouble to fill out a long aplication and everything- I wonder what's up with her. Anyway, the 2 seemed very quiet, which was strange. One seems like the shy type (he's a 40+ year old marine biologist, which makes me want to clean my aquaria) so that was not strange, but the other is a 25 year old who seems otherwise very bubbly and extraverted. Well, hopefully they'll open up a bit.

I just ate my weight in Chinese food for lunch. Oof!

This is a good thinky quote, by Crowley...

In this book it is spoken of the Sephiroth, and the Paths, of Spirits and Conjurations; of Gods, Spheres, Planes, and many other things which may or may not exist.

It is immaterial whether they exist or not. By doing certain things certain results follow; students are most earnestly warned against attributing objective reality or philosophic validity to any of them.

Don't know that I agree with it fully... there is a certain advantage to assuming things sometimes (taking it as a given), even and especially if when the assumption is made one keeps in mind that one could be completely wrong. But that may just be splitting hairs, it's still an interesting quote.
