Meat cats

I didn't stay up 'til four last night, but it was past 1am. Soooooo I'm sleepy! Surprise! And it's all cold and rainy still. It's snowing in Dallas; how come they always have all the fun? It's like 35 degrees here. If it's gonna be that way, it may as well snow. As [livejournal.com profile] dragonfly would say, this weather is fired.

The Sims are still cool. We downloaded and set up Hot Date, so I think I have all the Sims upgrades now. I have the most wild, amazing house for Mr.Scorpio. I wish I could live in it! And have a random god dump huge sums of money in my bank account because she wants to see what I can do if I didn't have to work for a living. That would be swell! There is one weird hitch where sometimes the Sim cat (Disco Stu) sat on top of the cat tree, wouldn't come down, and let all his scores run down... I didn't let it go 'til he croaked, I just exited without saving. But I could do nothing to get him down from there. It was weird and stressful to watch; he was well on his way to starving to death up there at one point, for no discernible reason at all. Shit! When I removed the cat tree, the problem went away. I'm glad this doesn't happen with meat cats. I love my meat cats.

The ich remedy has not cleared it up yet, but I'm having to put in half-doses due to it being harder on tetras, the only fish that seem to be suffering from it. When I drop the stuff in, it makes this dark green cloud that just hangs there for awhile... many of the fish seem to enjoy swimming in it, so perhaps it tastes good or something. I can't imagine they know it fixes the ich, but I suppose it's not unpossible ('me fail English?').

Futurama is on Adult Swim tonight! Yay!
