Another quiet day. We hung around the house, there was lots of naked time, I played the Sims, he worked on the tank and helped me set up said Sims. Let me tell you, it's one big gay party in Stacy's Sim world- all of Dave Matthews Band (except Stefan, who is an elementary school boy), Joxur from Xena, Mr.Scorpio from the Simpsons, Dennis Miller, Jimmy Carter, and many more. Ann Richards and Janeane Garofalo are also there; maybe they should hook up.

Tomorrow I go in for the allergy study. I have no problem with needles at all, so all the blood draws and such don't bother me at all. It's the glaucoma test. Apparently they're going to poke me in the eye to check for this. I have always been extremely sensitive about anything coming near my eyes; it's one reason I don't wear make-up because my eyes water constantly when pencils or brushes or whatever approach them. So now I'm going to let someone deliberately poke me in the eye. Maybe if I told them that I smoke my weight in weed every week so there's no way I could have glaucoma, I can get out of it? No, they can probably test for that. *sigh*, and *wince*

Quickie before we get on the road to Sweetwater...

I didn't get my eye poked, because I have become un-allergic to cedar in the last year. Wha...? But the good news (besides no eye pokage) is that I now qualify for another study- a dust mite allergy one, and I'm much more allergic to those than to cedar. They're looking for people only allergic to dust mites and not cedar too. And it pays $400! So, more money, no eye poking, huzzah!

I went to look at trucks since Toyota is having a lot of sales. It looks like I'll be able to find what I want for about the price I'm willing to spend. If I get standard instead of automatic, I can even get mileage that's about twice what my current car has. I really prefer automatic, but I may bite the bullet and go with a stick shift. It makes the car cheaper too. They had a '99 Tacoma for $11k that looked like a pretty good candidate- the only reason I didn't test drive it is the guy went off for like 10 minutes to get the keys and I had other things I wanted to get done.

Refinancing loan is apparently still in the works, but we're waiting to hear if the underwriters OK it. We have no idea at this point. We'll end up paying mortgage this month, and hold out hope for February.

I had one black neon bite the bullet. Except for Mr.Pinchy (goddessresthissoul) he's the only fish death I've had so far. Well, and the betta. OK, he's the only community fish death, which I think is not a bad record.

OK, see y'all later!
