(no subject)

Bro is a sad panda. He's having internal conflict about cutting off ties with Dad, but feels that Dad has hurt him so much he never wants to be friends with him. Also he worries that I think he could have handled it differently, or done better. My response was 'yeah, and if Ralph Nader looked like David Hasselhoff he'd be president; don't worry about it.' In addition, he is hitting a snag where he feels ashamed of being gay. This is all quite a bummer, so we went and hung out last night. We didn't do much, just watched TV and talked and noodled around on the computer. But that's what he likes to do. I hope he gets to feeling better. :(

In other news, Mom has bronchitis. She's been a chain-smoker for about 50 years now, so go figure. *sigh*

I sent off for a better filter for the 10g, and it appears to have been delivered according to Federal Express but I don't have it. They even have a feature where you can look at the signature- not mine or hub's. It supposedly arrived at 7:05pm- we were here, no filter. Who would keep an aquarium filter?!

Dental appointment today at 4:20pm. Woo hoo!
