Tonight Gordon presented the most amazing Full Moon ritual. Man, oh, man.

I went swimming after doing more painting (the blue is too blue. I wanted a cobalt blue, but I'm not sure how to fix it) because I felt stiff and wanted to stretch out my limbs. Also, swimming in bright moonlight is about one of the most wonderful things there is.

I danced! I never dance in public unless I am very drunk, but I was alone, and in the pool, and I danced. Mostly it probably looked like some kinda weird zero-g tai chi water ballet thing, but the play of my arms and hands under the water was fascinating. I would slowly spin in circles, watching the light and shadows move on my arms and in the water. Then I brought my arms around and up quickly, palm up, to about a foot beneath the surface, and watched the water boil up over my palms. Sometimes I only moved just to make the surface of the water ripple in a certain way, so I could watch the silver and black mosaic it would create.

Mmm. Moonlight and arms and hands and water. Yes.
