Jun. 26th, 2002 12:02 pmYesterday's grogginess turned into a horrible, horrible headache. You know, the kind where breathing and walking and blinking are painful. I wish I knew what caused those, but I have half a notion. We're getting new carpet at work and so everyone's packing up their cubicles and moving around the big room while it's getting installed and there is dust everywhere. I'm highly allergic to dust mites. The only thing that doesn't fit is that when dust gets stirred up I usually sneeze and get watery eyes, and instead I just had this pounding, awful, goat-felching headache.
When I got home I took 3 Advil and flopped on the couch and tried not to breathe too noticeably. I even dozed off for about 15 minutes, and it actually worked! I woke up feeling fine. We watched a couple of movies, including 'Osmosis Jones'. I am a whore for animated anything, so I had wanted to see this when it came out but never got around to it. The gross-out factor was pretty high as the reviews had warned, but despite that it was still a pretty cute movie. Hub had the funniest line of the evening though: "Bill Murray has really honed the profession of looking like crap" or words to that effect. Ha ha ha!
I'm glad my weekend is here. Today on the schedule- go to where one of the contractors we're considering has installed a concrete floor and ogle it, and go swimming. That's it.
