(no subject)

My Internet connection is completely screwed. I'm writing this from work, but for those of you on my friends list who have been breathlessly awaiting the rest of the Burning Flipside stories, it'll be awhile. I wrote it up and have it ready to post, but there's no way I'm gonna do it from work.

The stupid thing has been going off and on for over a week now. Finally yesterday it just croaked completely, and I cannot connect at all. In a way it's better than when it was intermittent- I can just walk away from it more easily that way. I nagged and nagged hub to call the cable dudes, since he knows a lot more about how it all works together (plus techs seem to respond better to males anyway) and he finally did Friday. Since this is apparently not uncommon, they're not going to get anyone out to look at it until Thursday. Blar. At least work will be good for something. Heh. Though I do miss chatting with him throughout the day...
