Mister Curve

Henry Rollins- to paraphrase Colbert, cool guy? Or the coolest guy ever? The man puts on an outstanding show. I hope whoever needed the ambulance that was parked outside the venue after the show was okay. And, I didn't think I'd ever been to La Zona Rosa, but it looked very familiar; I think I saw Joe Satriani there in, fuck, must've been 1987 or thereabouts. It was a good evening.

ooh, neat!

There's a bunch of King Tut artifacts at the Dallas Museum of Art. I remember going to see the original King Tut exhibit with Mom when it went through Chicago sometime in 1978 or so; she was really excited to see it, and sparked my interest too. What's a bit annoying is that the website splashes that golden funerary mask all over the site, probably because it's the most recognizable piece of Egyptian art in existence, but that mask is not going to be at the exhibit. They also talk in panicked tones about buying tickets right now, but the show's gonna be there until May. Well, that's marketers for you. I'm planning to go in spite of that; I love Egyptian stuff.

This is the story... of Stah Wahs. We'll start with part four.

After getting the Family Guy and Robot Chicken Star Wars dvds, now I want to watch Star Wars proper. My brother and I managed to talk our parents into taking us to see it probably ten times when it was in the theaters. And this was back when once it left the theaters, you had a good chance of never, ever seeing it again. So, now it's time.
