So my 12-packs of Red Fusion are slowly being eroded. Mom says she hasn't seen it in Bryan, either. I finally got the bright idea to call DrPepper. They swear they are selling it in town at Walgreen's. So I call the nearest Walgreen, and get a guy at the register. I ask, and he says "huh?"

"It's a soda." He puts me on hold. "Yeah, I think we have it."

"Red Fusion the DrPepper product?" and he puts me on hold again.

Then, "Yeah, we have all kinds- Red Fusion, Green Fusion..." I know damn well there's no such thing as Green Fusion, so I say "Are you sure? There's no such thing as Green Fusion."

"Well, I'm at the register so I can't check, you want me to put you through to someone else?"

"Yes, please."

"Okay, I'll put you through to photo."

WTF?? Woman with barely understandable accent (Vietnamese, I think) comes on; I ask.

"Yah, we got that, it comes in a box."

"A box? It's a DrPepper product, like a soda?"

"Oh, no, we don't got that." Aaargh!

If it's convenient, sure- but I'm pretty sure they don't have it. If you happen to be there anyway and it is, I'll pay you back with interest!

Shipping cans of soda costs more than I'm willing to pay at this point, but maybe after I run out of my stash I'll feel differently.
