Family portraits, or what have I gotten myself into?
DH seldom gets his parents anything, and *never* sends his grandparents even a card for x-mess. They all seem to put up with it, but it's been driving me crazy. So since DH is a photographer I suggested he take some pictures and send them... you know, put them in a frame made of dried macaroni, parents love that shit.
Well, somehow this ballooned into him and I and my brother and his boyfriend going to Jacque Penney for family portraits. It has been suggested that a tie-dye t-shirt would not be appropriate. In fact, Brö wants us all to wear all black and have a black background, which I plan to veto (though hub likes the idea, no surprise to anyone who's met him- but then he also suggested the 'Under the Sea' motif). Hub also thinks I should wear the big boobie bra because it's 'slimming'. When I bitched that I had to wear make-up, he offered to wear some too.
Yes, a strange family we have.
I haven't gotten gussied up to have my picture taken in years. This is going to be very weird.
