Jun. 7th, 2004 12:18 pmAnother day, another dollar. Bleh. It was hard to get out of bed this morning, really tough- so I was late to work. My boss has been very cool due to all the stuff I'm going through, but I don't want to push my luck.
I've a call into Gyno to get an idea of if he thinks I'll need to be out of work... the procedure he's doing is supposed to have a really fast recovery time, but I don't want to find out at the pre-op (which is like 3 days before the surgery) that he thinks I'll need to take a week off. I'm hoping I can have it done Tuesday and go back to work Sunday, since my job is about as sedentary as a job gets- but I have no idea if this is realistic. I'll find out.
The Alamo Drafthouse is having free shows to celebrate it's birthdays. Apparently the very first movie the first Alamo showed was 'Raising Arizona', my favorite movie (which is ironic) of all time. So to celebrate, they're going to have a free showing at the Alamo near where we live tomorrow night at 9:45pm. I hope we can get in; I've never seen this movie on the big screen and that would be cool.
